It's just a part of being in this family; your Mama has been creating nicknames for her loved ones for many years. Can't help it, it just happens! And now it seems your brothers have the same gene :) hee hee!

• Buggaboo - You recognize these because Mama has called you Bug since the day you arrived. Nearly every song is sung with Bug in it :)
• Johnny - this is everyone's favorite. It was given to you by your big brother Benjamin and there is a certain way that both big brothers say it that just makes all who hear it smile (just like you!!).
• J Hawk - Lovingly given by your Papa who loves your mohawk!
• Chunky Monkey - more delicious than the ice cream!!!
• Widdo, widdo widdo bwadda - With love from your Hairy Brother

After a long week....

Papa is reunited with his boys who can NOT wait to play, play, play. He doesn't make it in the door very far before being the best ever hands-on Papa! In fact, he can't get his arms around all of you boys fast enoug!

And the feeling is mutual...this is one of the favorite ways all three of you boys get to "hold on" to Papa at the same time (and dust the floor?!?) :)
What a wonderful Papa you have, Jonathan! You don't even know the half of it yet! :)

An angel in every way

Today my sweet baby showed yet another example of how he is quite literally a little angel from heaven.

You were jumping happily in your Johnny Jump this morning just about ready to go up for nap when Mama's neighbor and good friend stopped by with very sad news. She was very upset so she stayed to talk.
Instead of fussing because it was way past your nap time, you seemed to know that Mama needed to share some hugs with someone else. And you quietly fell asleep in your johnny jump.
You simply amaze me, Jonathan! Every day you shine so brightly with joy and you are so wonderful and easy.
I love you, my sweet angel!!!
